Salt therapy has been used to treat upper and lower respiratory conditions such as cold and flu, allergy, asthma, bronchitis, cystic fibrosis, sinus infection, sinusitis, rhinitis, hay fever and emphysema. In addition, the anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties of salt have been shown to effectively treat conditions of the skin such as eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis.
Salt rooms and salt therapy are a fairly new practice here in the States, but in Europe they are well known as salt caves, given their origins from salt mines where salt therapy was discovered. Instead of the confined and enclosed European salt caves, we believe in creating a calming spa-like environment for our salt rooms in order to give clients a tranquil atmosphere where they can relax while benefiting from the salt therapy.

SALT THERAPY
Sessions and rooms
Each salt therapy session at The Salt Room Apopka lasts 45 minutes. You can read a book or even take a nap while relaxing to the calming background music playing in the room. Your comfort is meticulously ensured by our luxuriously crafted leather recliner chairs, meticulously designed to deliver an unparalleled relaxing experience. With your feet gently elevated at heart-level or slightly above, this position minimizes strain on your spine, inducing a profound sense of relaxation by neutralizing the effects of gravity. Our sumptuous leather recliner chairs invite you to fully unwind, facilitating the discs in your spine to effortlessly revert to their natural, soothing shape, creating a profoundly relaxing atmosphere.
Every wall surface, including the floor & ceiling, is covered with natural rock salt to create a sterilized and negative ion environment. The Salt Room Apopka also uses the newest top-of-the-line halogenerators to crush pharmaceutical grade salt into small particles for inhalation creating the microclimate.
Cancellation Policy
If you must reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify The Salt Room® at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment to avoid being charged the FULL SERVICE FEE. Any appointments rescheduled within the 24-hour timeframe will incur a change fee of $50.
